Write a New Song to the Lord!
Calling all Christian songwriters, hymn writers, worship leaders, musicians, lyricists, etc. Join us as we get together for a day of learning, growing in our craft, and making connections with others with a similar passion for writing songs to God’s glory. We will also learn first-hand about the benefits of co-writing with others by spending some time in groups of 3. Our speaker is Stephen Duncan of Next Level Songs out of Nashville, TN who was Creative Director & Manager for Christian publishing companies where he garnered song cuts from Natalie Grant, Newsboys, Mandisa, Michael W. Smith, Hawk Nelson, Aaron Shust, Jason Gray, Unspoken, Lauren Daigle and others. Cost for the workshop including lunch is $25 if you register by June 10th, $30 after June 10th and $40 at the door. Part of the cost is being underwritten by a grant from Thrivent. The workshop will be held at St. John’s (Sand Prairie) Lutheran Church near Green Valley, IL 9:30am-6pm on Monday, June 20th.
